Robert "Rob" England Grant, Jr. (born June 16, 1954 in New York), is the father of American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey. He is known for his work as a domain developer.

Early lifeEdit

Grant was born to his mother Cynthia Grant and father Robert Grant Sr. in New York on June 16, 1954. He graduated from Prescott College in Arizona.

CareerEdit

Grant began working as a Grey Group executive copywriter. After working as a major executive, he began investment in web domains in the late 90s, and as a result became a self-made entrepreneur. Grant won the Developer of the Year Award at the domain conference and event T.R.A.F.F.I.C. 2011.

Marriage and childrenEdit

Grant married Patricia Grant on June 12, 1982 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church.[1] They later had their first daughter and oldest child Lana Del Rey in New York City, and shortly moved to Lake Placid. Following this, they had their second daughter Chuck Grant then their first son and youngest child Charlie Grant.

Current lifeEdit

Robert Grant and his wife currently live in Lake Placid, New York. They have remained out of the spotlight of Del Rey's career but often travel with her on tour. He usually interacts with his daughter's fans through social media. He has also made several domain name donations to various organizations, most notably the Kent School that Del Rey attended as a young girl.[2]
