"Cry Me a River" is a popular torch song written by Arthur Hamilton for Ella Fitzgerald in 1953 made famous by Julie London's rendition in 1955. Despite the song's intentions to be sung by Fitzgerald, it wasn't until 1961 that she recorded it. Other notable artists to record the song include Shirley Bassey, Frank Sinatra Jr. and Michael Bublé.
